Build your own foam mattress in Single, Double, King Size or Super King. Choose an 8, 9 or 10 inch depth, one to three layers and six foam grades, then see the construction and live price before adding it to your basket.
Quick answer: Select the standard UK size, overall depth, number of layers and foam grade for each layer. The builder shows only valid constructions, redraws the mattress diagram and updates the price immediately.
The base remains at least 6 inches thick, while each additional layer is at least 1 inch. Every custom mattress includes a 6 year warranty, subject to warranty terms.
The diagram uses the standard visual colour for each selected foam grade; minor shade differences can occur between manufacturing batches.
Quick answer: a custom foam mattress uses the size, total depth, number of layers and foam grades you select instead of one fixed internal construction. It is useful when you already know whether you prefer a balanced, firm, very firm, responsive or memory-foam comfort feel.
The All Foam online builder covers standard UK mattress sizes. It customises the internal foam construction rather than asking you to choose from a product name alone.
Select Single, Double, King Size or Super King. Exact dimensions are listed before you configure the layers.
Compare 8, 9 and 10 inch constructions. A deeper mattress uses more foam but is not automatically firmer.
Use one foam throughout or combine a supportive base with separate middle and comfort layers.
Check the complete construction, quantity and qualifying offer price before adding the mattress to your basket.
Quick answer: the calculator prices every selected layer from the current All Foam foam-sheet or mattress-topper catalogue, adjusts it for the chosen mattress size and thickness, then includes the made-to-order construction cost in one final price.
The 20% order offer is applied when the basket reaches £170. Because custom mattress configurations exceed that threshold, the builder shows the qualifying offer price alongside the standard total.
Larger mattress sizes and deeper foam layers use more material, so the price changes when the size, depth or thickness split changes.
Each grade uses its current catalogue price. Choosing a different support or comfort foam changes only the relevant layer cost.
The made-to-order construction cost is included within the displayed total. It is not added as a separate charge later in the basket.
Standard one-mattress configurations range from £228.80 to £928.26. With the current 20% offer, qualifying prices range from £183.04 to £742.61. Your exact total is shown in the builder and recalculated securely in the basket.
Quick answer: the online foam mattress builder prices four standard UK sizes and three finished depths. Check both the size name and exact centimetre dimensions before ordering.
| Mattress size | Exact dimensions | Available depths |
|---|---|---|
| Single | 90 cm × 190 cm | 8, 9 or 10 inches |
| Double | 135 cm × 190 cm | 8, 9 or 10 inches |
| King Size | 150 cm × 198 cm | 8, 9 or 10 inches |
| Super King | 180 cm × 198 cm | 8, 9 or 10 inches |
Quick answer: choose a custom construction when you want control over the support grade, comfort layer and total depth. Choose a standard mattress when an established construction already matches your preference, or a topper when the existing mattress remains supportive and only the surface feel needs changing.

A custom foam mattress uses the size, total depth, layer split and foam grades you choose instead of one fixed construction. This online builder covers Single, Double, King Size and Super King mattresses.
A foam mattress can be a good choice when the support grade, comfort layers, depth and bed base suit the sleeper. A construction that is too soft, too firm or used on an unsuitable base may feel uncomfortable, so the layer choice matters.
The feel can vary significantly by foam grade and thickness. Memory foam responds more slowly and may feel warmer than faster-recovery foams, while a very soft or very firm construction will not suit everyone. Foam also needs a level, supportive bed base.
There is no single lifespan for every foam mattress. Durability depends on foam grade, mattress depth, frequency of use, the supporting bed base and care. All Foam custom mattresses include a 6 year warranty, subject to the warranty terms.
You can choose a standard UK mattress size, a total depth of 8, 9 or 10 inches, one to three foam layers, the thickness split and the foam grade used in each active layer.
Choose 8 inches for the lowest-profile construction, 9 inches for additional material or 10 inches for the deepest option. Depth alone does not decide firmness because the selected foam grades and layer split also change the feel.
You can select one, two or three layers. The base layer is always at least 6 inches thick, and each additional layer is at least 1 inch thick.
Medium foam provides a more balanced feel, High foam gives firmer support, Severe Very Firm is the firmest option, and Reflex grades provide faster recovery. Memory foam is usually more suitable as an upper comfort layer than as the complete support base.
The price is calculated from the current All Foam price for every selected foam layer, the mattress size and the layer thickness. A construction charge is included in the displayed total and is not shown as a separate line.
Yes. Once the configuration and price are shown, choose a quantity, add the mattress to your All Foam basket and continue through the same secure checkout used for other products.
The online calculator currently prices Single, Double, King Size and Super King. Contact All Foam before ordering if you need a different finished width or length for an unusual bed frame, caravan, campervan, motorhome or boat.
No. A custom foam mattress is a complete layered sleeping surface. A mattress topper is a separate comfort layer placed on an existing mattress and cannot replace a damaged or unsupported mattress core.
A slatted base may be suitable when it is level, stable and provides even support with gaps that are not too wide. Check the bed-base condition and measurements before ordering.
